Talk Show Hosts and Jesus the Philosopher

I came across this video clip today on a messageboard.

One day Oprah will be accountable to God for the way that she has used her platform to decieve people. "I can't get into a religious argument with you." means "I don't want my viewers to realize that I have no basis for what I am saying"I hear the same thing at least two or three times a week on Bill O'Riley's radio show. He talks about "The Deity" and "The Philosopher Jesus." He claims to be a devout Catholic and then preaches a message that would have gotten him killed by his own church 200 years ago. Just yesterday he made some erroneous comment about how Christmas is to celebrate the philosopher Jesus but Easter is religious. Christmas is the celebration of the birth of a king. Bill destroys his credibility any time he talks about Jesus the great philosopher...Jesus claimed to be God. Jesus said "I and the Father are one" and the people knew exactly what he meant because they wanted to stone Him. Jesus rose from the dead and nobody was able to produce a body to prove otherwise. If Jesus was anything less than the fully divine Son of God then he wasn't a great philosopher, he was a lunatic. Even when He preached about other things like conduct, it was all in the context of the gospel which centers around the point that He is God. He had to be everything that he claimed to be or else he was just some arrogant talk show host.
